Christmas Is Magical When You Have Kids

I have always loved Christmas. Before I had kids, I could sleep in on Christmas morning.  Then, get up leisurely and make my way to the tree to open presents with my husband.  I didn’t send out Christmas cards.  My shopping list was a lot shorter.  Now, I have kids and the Holiday’s are so much fun and a bit different! magical

I love dressing the kids up and taking them to the studio to get their pictures taken for the family Christmas card! We went to see Santa and there were no tears! Phew!!! My oldest told me what was on her Christmas list for Santa after speaking to Santa! Totally made my life easier!

Best Part is I get to be Santa and go shopping for toys. In my case, I shopped online and avoided the crowds and lines! I was excited to pick out the gifts, because I know my kids will be so happy to open them on Christmas morning.  Yes, they did wake me up early but it is totally worth it! To see their face is simply priceless! I think When you become a parent Christmas just gets more fun! Right?!?!?

It was also fun to bake cookies for Santa.  (( ME!!)) My husband will gladly eat them too. Some of the ornaments might get broken, but the tree wouldn’t look right without them.  There is nothing like seeing my daughter’s and now my baby boy’s eyes light up when they see their gifts under the tree.  That is truly magical part of the holiday’s! Hope you and your family has a great Holiday!
